Waffle Maker Scooby-doo New

first meeting in Pretoria

gratitude and joy characterized the meetings with the Archbishop of Pretoria, George Francis Daniel, and the believers in the evening Mass at the Sacred Heart Cathedral. This was especially tangible in the happy coexistence of people in the church and the different song: the cathedral choir intoned the Easter Alleluia of Regensburg composer Stefan Trenner, the African community agreed spontaneously singing in Xhosa. How much the people appreciated the visit of the Regensburg guests, young people were from the Kathedralpfarrei with a gift to Bishop Gerhard Ludwig Mueller.

In his homily, he stressed the interconnectedness of all brothers and sisters as inhabitants of the common house of the Church: "The visit from Regensburg to demonstrate our friendship and emphasize our shared vision of one world." This relationship - especially between Regensburg and South Africa - is clear, including through the 31 missionaries who live and work in the country. Bishop Gerhard Ludwig raised but also highlighted the use of African priests and religious in the diocese of Regensburg: "They are accepted by the people and be loved by them."

Archbishop George Francis Daniel put in thanking word the work of Fidei Donum priests in the Diocese of Pretoria out. These priests were of Archbishop DDr. Michael Buchberger in the 50's from Regensburg from South Africa sent. "The foundation of our church are here on site. Without them we would not be standing here!" Already at the beginning of the service, Bishop Gerhard Ludwig Mueller presided as the main celebrant, welcomed the chaplain of the German community in Pretoria, Father Johann Maneschg those present. He thanked for the great honor that the Catholic communities in Pretoria is given by the visit of the Bishop with the cathedral choir.

sounded especially beautiful from the day's dinner. And to make all jealous: We ate in the open air and warm late summer temperatures.
